As I teased about in my last post, there are no tricks to having a successful and strong marriage, but, there are actions and choices.  Marriage isn’t just a one-time promise—it’s a daily commitment. Every day, we are faced with choices that either strengthen or weaken the bond we share with our spouse. The Bible is full of wisdom about love, commitment, and how to build a relationship that honors God. Here are 10 daily choices that can help you cultivate a marriage that not only lasts but thrives—rooted in faith and built on love.


1️⃣ Put God First

A marriage is strongest when God is at its center. When you seek Him together through prayer, worship, and Scripture, you lay a foundation that cannot easily be shaken.
📖 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33


2️⃣ Choose Each Other Daily

Love is more than a feeling; it’s a choice. Every morning, you have the chance to recommit to your spouse—to say, “I choose you again today.”
